Renewable energy companies have supported Labor’s election win as it may lead to the early introduction of a price on carbon pollution, the Australian Financial Review reported. Pacific Hydro Pty General Manager Australia Lane Crockett said the company was hopeful that a price on carbon would be introduced “in at least the next couple of years,” according to the report.
